New site, new home for side projects

This site is three things:

1. A portfolio. What I’ve built, starting with IssuePulse.
2. A blog. Notes on building products, mostly the parts that surprised me.
3. A playground. Small browser games and apps under /play and /apps, with one account across all of them.

Why Astro

Most of this site is text and images. Astro renders it to plain HTML at build time and ships almost no JavaScript, so pages load fast on any connection. The pages that do need a server (sign-in, your account, leaderboards) opt in one at a time.

Why Supabase

Games need accounts, saved progress and leaderboards. Supabase gives me Postgres, auth and realtime channels in one place, with row-level security so each player can only touch their own data. A game I add next year gets all of that for free.
